Crispy chicken bites tossed in a creamy, sweet, and spicy Bang Bang sauce — perfect as an appetizer, bowl topping, or main dish.

Ingredients

  • lbs boneless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into chunks

  • 1 cup buttermilk (or 1 cup milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)

  • ¾ cup flour

  • ½ cup cornstarch

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Vegetable oil for frying

For the Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce

  • 12 tsp sriracha

  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Instructions

  • Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 15 minutes.

  • Mix flour, cornstarch, and spices in a bowl.

  • Whisk sauce ingredients together until smooth; set aside.

  • Heat oil to 350°F. Dredge chicken in flour mixture.

  • Fry in batches until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes.

  • Drain and toss in Bang Bang sauce. Serve immediately.
