This classic meatloaf is tender, flavorful, and topped with a tangy-sweet glaze. It’s the ultimate comfort food that’s easy to make and loved by all.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)

  • ¾ cup breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup milk

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp ketchup (in meat)

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp dried thyme

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Glaze:

  • ½ cup ketchup

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet or prepare a loaf pan.

  • Sauté onion and garlic until soft. Let cool slightly.

  • In a large bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, sautéed onion/garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire, mustard, and seasonings.

  • Shape into a loaf and place on the pan.

  • Mix glaze ingredients and spread half over the loaf.

  • Bake for 45 minutes. Add remaining glaze and bake 15–20 minutes more.

  • Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
