This classic meatloaf is tender, flavorful, and topped with a tangy-sweet glaze. It’s the ultimate comfort food that’s easy to make and loved by all.
2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
¾ cup breadcrumbs
½ cup milk
2 large eggs
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp ketchup (in meat)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp dried thyme
1 tsp paprika
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Glaze:
½ cup ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet or prepare a loaf pan.
Sauté onion and garlic until soft. Let cool slightly.
In a large bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, sautéed onion/garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire, mustard, and seasonings.
Shape into a loaf and place on the pan.
Mix glaze ingredients and spread half over the loaf.
Bake for 45 minutes. Add remaining glaze and bake 15–20 minutes more.
Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
