This cheesy garlic bread is loaded with rich garlic butter and melty cheese, baked until golden and bubbling—an easy, craveable side or appetizer.

  • 1 French or Italian loaf

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 35 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)

  • ½ tsp oregano (optional)

  • ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Mix garlic butter with herbs and seasonings.

  • Slice bread in half lengthwise and place on baking sheet.

  • Spread garlic butter evenly on both halves.

  • Sprinkle cheese blend generously on top.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, then broil 1–2 minutes until golden.

  • Cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
