A festive, no-cook caprese salad arranged like a Christmas tree—perfect for holiday appetizers and potlucks. Sweet tomatoes, fresh basil, and mozzarella topped with balsamic glaze.
2 cups cherry or grape tomatoes
8 oz mozzarella balls (ciliegine or bocconcini)
1 bunch fresh basil leaves
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1–2 tbsp balsamic glaze
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional garnishes: rosemary sprigs, pomegranate seeds, cheese star
Rinse and dry tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella.
On a large platter, arrange ingredients in rows forming a Christmas tree shape.
Alternate tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil for each row.
Add a “trunk” using olives or mozzarella.
Garnish with rosemary and pomegranate if desired.
Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze just before serving.
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
