This creamy garlic Parmesan chicken pasta is rich, comforting, and made in one pan. Ready in 30 minutes, it’s perfect for weeknights, leftovers, or date-night dinners.
1.5 lbs boneless chicken breast or thighs, diced
8 oz penne or fettuccine pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter (divided)
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
Salt and pepper, to taste
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup water, then drain.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear in oil and 1 tbsp butter until golden. Remove.
In same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter. Sauté garlic for 1 minute.
Add broth, cream, and Italian seasoning. Simmer 3–5 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan until smooth. Return chicken and pasta. Toss to coat.
Simmer 2–3 minutes. Adjust with reserved pasta water as needed.
Garnish and serve hot
