This creamy garlic Parmesan chicken pasta is rich, comforting, and made in one pan. Ready in 30 minutes, it’s perfect for weeknights, leftovers, or date-night dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless chicken breast or thighs, diced

  • 8 oz penne or fettuccine pasta

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 tbsp butter (divided)

  • 5 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup water, then drain.

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sear in oil and 1 tbsp butter until golden. Remove.

  • In same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter. Sauté garlic for 1 minute.

  • Add broth, cream, and Italian seasoning. Simmer 3–5 minutes.

  • Stir in Parmesan until smooth. Return chicken and pasta. Toss to coat.

  • Simmer 2–3 minutes. Adjust with reserved pasta water as needed.

  • Garnish and serve hot
