Easy cheesy pizza pockets made with store-bought dough, melty mozzarella, and your favorite fillings. Perfect for quick dinners, lunchboxes, or freezer meals.
1 sheet refrigerated pizza dough or puff pastry
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1–1½ cups shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup pepperoni, sausage, or vegetables (optional)
1 egg (for egg wash)
Optional: Italian seasoning, Parmesan for topping
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line baking sheet with parchment.
Roll out dough and cut into 6–8 rectangles.
Add 1–2 tbsp sauce, cheese, and toppings to half of each.
Fold over and seal edges with a fork. Cut a slit in top.
Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with seasonings (optional).
Bake 15–18 minutes until golden and puffy.
Cool slightly and serve with dipping sauce.
