These Garlic Butter Bread Rolls are soft, fluffy, and golden brown, brushed with a rich garlic herb butter right out of the oven. Perfect for dinner sides, holidays, or whenever you need a warm, comforting bread.

For the Dough

  • 2¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • ½ cup warm water (110°F)

  • ½ cup warm milk

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

Garlic Butter

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 23 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or chives

  • ¼ tsp salt (if using unsalted butter)

Instructions

  1. Mix yeast, sugar, warm water. Let sit 5 mins (if using active dry yeast).

  2. Add milk, melted butter, salt, and flour gradually. Knead until smooth.

  3. Let dough rise 60–75 mins until doubled.

  4. Divide into 12 balls. Place in greased baking dish.

  5. Let rise again 30–40 mins. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  6. Bake for 18–22 mins until golden.

  7. Melt butter with garlic and herbs. Brush over hot rolls.

  8. Serve warm and enjoy.
