Soft, fluffy bread rolls brushed with garlicky butter and herbs — perfect as a side dish or stand-alone treat.
1 cup warm milk (110°F)
2¼ tsp instant or active dry yeast
2 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp salt
3–3½ cups all-purpose or bread flour
Garlic Butter Topping:
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
2–3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp chopped parsley
(Optional) 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar in a bowl. Let sit 5 minutes (for active dry yeast).
Stir in melted butter, salt, and flour. Knead until smooth, 8–10 minutes.
Cover and let rise 1–1½ hours, until doubled.
Divide into 12 rolls. Shape and place in greased baking dish.
Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes.
Bake at 375°F for 18–22 minutes until golden.
Brush hot rolls with garlic butter mixture.
