Soft, fluffy bread rolls brushed with garlicky butter and herbs — perfect as a side dish or stand-alone treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)

  • 2¼ tsp instant or active dry yeast

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 3 cups all-purpose or bread flour

Garlic Butter Topping:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 23 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

  • (Optional) 2 tbsp grated Parmesan

Instructions

  • Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar in a bowl. Let sit 5 minutes (for active dry yeast).

  • Stir in melted butter, salt, and flour. Knead until smooth, 8–10 minutes.

  • Cover and let rise 1–1½ hours, until doubled.

  • Divide into 12 rolls. Shape and place in greased baking dish.

  • Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes.

  • Bake at 375°F for 18–22 minutes until golden.

  • Brush hot rolls with garlic butter mixture.
