Ingredients

  • 8 oz mozzarella, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1½ cups panko or seasoned breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp oregano

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • Optional: chili flakes, parsley

  • Oil for frying or spray for baking

Instructions

  • Cut cheese into cubes and pat dry.

  • Set up breading: flour, eggs, and seasoned breadcrumb-Parmesan mix.

  • Coat cheese in flour, egg, then breadcrumbs. Repeat egg and crumbs for extra crisp.

  • Freeze coated bites for 20–30 minutes.

  • Fry at 350°F for 30–45 seconds until golden, or bake at 425°F for 10–12 minutes.

  • Serve hot with marinara or favorite dip.
