1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini
1 tbsp olive oil
3–4 garlic cloves, minced
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)
Cook tortellini in salted boiling water until tender. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium. Add garlic and red pepper; sauté until fragrant.
Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1–2 minutes.
Pour in cream and broth. Simmer, then stir in Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
Add tortellini to the sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until well coated.
Garnish with basil and serve warm.
