A fast and flavorful stir-fry made with ground beef, tender broccoli, and a sweet-savory honey garlic sauce. Perfect for busy nights or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (85–90% lean)

  • 3 cups broccoli florets

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger (optional)

  • 1 tbsp oil (for cooking)

Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce

  • 2 1/2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (optional)

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)

Instructions

  1. Blanch or microwave broccoli until tender-crisp. Set aside.

  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, 5–7 minutes. Drain fat if needed.

  3. Add garlic and ginger. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. Whisk sauce ingredients in a bowl. Pour over beef.

  5. Add broccoli and stir to coat. Simmer 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.

  6. Serve hot over rice or grains. Garnish as desired.

Notes

  • Use tamari or coconut aminos for gluten-free option.

  • Add red pepper flakes for spice.
