This simple and delicious Tater Tot Casserole is the ultimate comfort food — creamy, cheesy ground beef filling topped with golden, crispy tater tots.
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced (optional)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
Brown beef and onion in a skillet; drain.
Stir in soup, Worcestershire sauce, seasonings, veggies, and 1 cup cheese.
Spread mixture into baking dish and top with tater tots.
Bake 35–40 minutes until tots are golden.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake 5 more minutes.
