Tender chicken glazed in a sticky garlic sauce, tossed with noodles and topped with green onions and sesame seeds. Quick, bold, and irresistibly delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken (thighs or breasts), sliced

  • 8 oz lo mein or ramen noodles

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar or honey

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice

  • 2 tbsp water

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce (optional)

  • 2 tbsp neutral oil for cooking

  • Green onions & sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and sesame oil. Set aside 10–15 mins.

  • Cook noodles, rinse under cold water, and set aside.

  • Whisk together sauce: soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, water, garlic, cornstarch, (optional dark soy).

  • Sear chicken in skillet until golden and cooked. Remove and set aside.

  • Pour sauce into the pan, stir until thickened (1–2 mins).

  • Return chicken and add noodles. Toss to coat.

  • Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
