Tender chicken glazed in a sticky garlic sauce, tossed with noodles and topped with green onions and sesame seeds. Quick, bold, and irresistibly delicious!
1 lb boneless chicken (thighs or breasts), sliced
8 oz lo mein or ramen noodles
4 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp dark soy sauce (optional)
2 tbsp neutral oil for cooking
Green onions & sesame seeds for garnish
Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and sesame oil. Set aside 10–15 mins.
Cook noodles, rinse under cold water, and set aside.
Whisk together sauce: soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, water, garlic, cornstarch, (optional dark soy).
Sear chicken in skillet until golden and cooked. Remove and set aside.
Pour sauce into the pan, stir until thickened (1–2 mins).
Return chicken and add noodles. Toss to coat.
Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
